BENESSERE GIOVANI ORGANIZZIAMOCI - FSE POR Campania 2014/2020

In order to facilitate the identification of companies to be involved in the partnership for the implementation of experiential workshops related to the public notice “Benessere Giovani-Organizziamoci”, please find below, as an indication, the link to the National Register for Alternating School-Work, within the portal of the Chambers of Commerce scuolalavoro.registroimprese.it.
This is a database of companies that have already indicated their willingness to host trainees within the framework of the school-to-work alternation courses. This list is not binding for the identification of project partner companies.

The Campania Region promotes “Benessere Giovani” with the “Organizziamoci” line of action, which aims at raising awareness and accompanying young people aged between 16 and 35 to the culture of enterprise, their autonomy and the acquisition of experiences and skills useful to foster their personal growth, active citizenship and knowledge of the territories and to give space to their artistic and creative inclinations.

The notice is aimed at partnerships between public bodies, youth associations, other non-profit organisations and businesses to run workshops for young people through the use of multifunctional public spaces made available to young people on a permanent basis.

The Lead Partner of the partnership is the municipality, individually or in association, which has a space available for multi-purpose youth activities. The partnership must include the participation of at least one youth association.

Each partnership must submit a project proposal that envisages the implementation of at least two of the three types of workshops: workshops on pathways towards business creation and self-employment; experiential workshops in which young people will acquire experience and practical skills in companies; educational and cultural workshops, aimed at promoting youth activities.

Al centro dell’intervento sono i giovani, per accrescere la loro autonomia, la loro voglia di fare esperienza, di mettersi in gioco, di sviluppare la loro creatività e i talenti, confrontarsi con il mondo dell’impresa e della cultura dei territori e fruire di spazi organizzati in cui si possono ritrovare stabilmente.

Through the workshops, young people will be sensitised to the business culture, assisted in the acquisition of skills and abilities, accompanied in paths of personal growth and social integration focused on issues of legality, active citizenship, education and environmental protection, as well as collective participation in the reconstruction of the identity of places and communities.

The strength of local networks
The measure offers a unique opportunity to bring together the main players in the local territorial systems: the municipalities, individually or in association, which have multi-purpose areas available for activities for young people; the universe of local associations, starting with youth associations, which are a point of reference for the activation of young people; businesses, which open their doors to young people for training courses and to enable them to gain experience of mutual benefit, which in Campania means small local businesses, guardians of craft, production and manufacturing traditions, but also of technological innovation, often of international excellence.

Optimisation of resources
The use of multi-purpose public spaces made available by the municipalities, starting with the tried and tested multi-purpose centres built with funds from the previous European programme, makes it possible to optimise the use of public assets; for their part, associations, starting with youth associations, often have far-sighted ideas and projects but lack adequate spaces in which to implement them, and for this reason they find the municipalities’ multipurpose centres the ideal places to carry out their project activities; businesses, while possessing technological and process know-how, need the freshness and knowledge of young people to innovate and relaunch themselves on the market, face the challenges of Industry 4. 0 and compete in global systems. Young people, who are an immense reservoir of resources, talent and creativity, can overcome the obstacles to job placement through the knowledge acquired in the laboratories and in-company placements.

Activities

Activities will take place through the following types of workshops for a maximum duration of 24 months:

Workshops for business creation:Accompaniment to business creation and self-employment
Experiential workshops with enterprises: Practical experiences in enterprises for the acquisition of work skills
Educational and cultural workshops: Raising awareness of legality, active citizenship, environmental education and protection, identity of places and communities

Project duration: maximum 24 months

Resources
Total funding € 10,000,000 to be funded by POR Campania FSE 2014 – 2020.

The maximum amount that can be financed for each project varies according to the size of the population of the proposing municipality – or municipalities in association – and the types of workshops envisaged and the actual accessibility of the venues by young people.

Examples of financing

Eligible costs
Expenditure incurred for the implementation of the initiative, starting from the date on which the deed of agreement/commitment is signed, according to the cost headings of the financial plan in Attachment 3 of the Notice and grouped under the following macro headings: preparation, implementation, dissemination of results, management and control, indirect costs.

Presentation of applications
The notice has a duration of 30 days for the presentation of projects to be carried out at Multipurpose Centres already completed and financed under the previous 2007/2013 programming period, and 60 days for all other projects. Applications must be submitted on the computer platform benesseregiovani.regione.campania.it (active from midnight on 15 December).

Guarantee Fund
Purpose: to support access to credit by disadvantaged people and, in particular, young people, who want to undertake an activity consistent with what has been experimented and acquired through the project activities. Through microcredit, a loan of up to € 25,000 can be requested at very advantageous conditions.

The Guarantee Fund was established by DGR n. 345 of 06/07/2016 and financed for a total amount of € 1,000,000.00.

Applications must be submitted from midnight on 15/12/2016 on the online platform benesseregiovani.regione.campania.it by the:

13 February 2017 * for municipalities that already have a completed and tested Multipurpose Centre (DD n. 284 of 28/07/2011)
15 March 2017 * for all other municipalities that have public spaces completed at the date of application submission

* DD n. 1 of 10/01/2017 postponed the expiry dates by 30 days with respect to the provisions of the Notice

Regione Campania promotes Benessere Giovani, – Organizziamoci, the action that aims to help young citizens from 16 to 35 y.o. to increase their knowledge about business, their own autonomy, experience, personal growth, knowledge of their territories, and their artistic and creative skills.

The public notice targets partnerships between public authorities – municipalities – youth associations, other no profit subjects and enterprises to run laboratories for young people by using public multifunctional spaces permanently available to the youth.
